Update (4/25/14) -  See you ALL at the Luncheon! 1999 Wabash Ave! Registrations are closed, project assignments and t-shirts are ready for pick up on 4/23/14 after 1:30 p.m. Call 217.726.7000 to speak with Katrina for assistance or how you can still get involved.

Volunteer for the 8th consecutive United Way Spring Day of Action and join nearly 350 volunteers at service projects throughout our community.

Participants will work on projects at designated member and non-member agencies.

Due to popular demand, this Spring's event has expanded to offer volunteer opportunities on both Friday, April 25th (1:00-4:00 p.m.)and Saturday, April 26th (8:30-11:30 a.m.).

In addition, United Way's Spring Day of Action will include volunteer opportunities for children and teenagers.  Children must be 8 years of age or older to volunteer and a parent/guardian must accompany/supervise children.  Service Hour verification will be available for high school students requiring proof of service hours for school.

Volunteer assignments are made based upon age, size of volunteer group, and agency needs.  However, this page will be updated with more information on various volunteer projects as agency requests are received and approved.

Each volunteer will receive their volunteer assignment a week in advance with details on supplies, t-shirt pick-up and parking.
